At Adelaide Gastrointestinal Specialists, we’re a dedicated and dynamic multi-disciplinary team providing exceptional care for patients with digestive system disorders.
Our practice includes 11 specialists, 1 experienced dietitian, and 1 upper GI surgeon, all working collaboratively to deliver high-quality care.

As our Medical Receptionist, you’ll be the friendly face and voice of our practice, ensuring each patient’s experience is smooth, professional, and welcoming.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and assisting patients in person and over the phone
  • Scheduling and managing appointments using practice software
  • Supporting specialists with administrative tasks
  • Handling patient records, results, and account details accurately
  • Maintaining a calm, organised, and welcoming reception area
  • Providing assistance and comfort to patients when needed
  • Upholding confidentiality and professionalism at all times

About You
We’re looking for someone who brings warmth, efficiency, and professionalism to the role.
Desirable skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a medical practice (highly desirable)
  • Familiarity with Genie practice management software (highly desirable)
  • Excellent multitasking and organisational skills
  • Professional and courteous phone manner
  • Team-player mindset with a positive attitude
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
