Full job description

We are looking for a catering assistant to join our supportive and friendly team. Experience in a kitchen role is required. Brand new, custom built kitchen and facilities.

Morning shifts on Mon, Tues and Weds, with some Fridays, and Afternoon shifts on Mon, Tues, Weds and Thursdays available.

Please let us know your availability when applying. We are open to applicants on a working holiday visa - you are able to get an extension without going regional by working in aged care.

The role involves serving food as per resident requirements, maintaining dining areas, cleaning up after service and packing down. You will be assisting with general prep (making salads and sandwiches) and maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen. You will respond to requests from residents (your customers) so good communication and organisational skills are important.

Supportive team and brand new facilities.

We are located within walking distance to Roseville train station.

KOPWA is a not-for-profit aged care organisation based in Roseville, running a supportive and structured aged care service that ensures the highest level of clinical care and customer service.

Please note, you will be required to obtain a satisfactory NDIS Check and be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 including booster. You may also be required to compete a health check assessment to ensure your suitability for the role.

Pay: $29.00 – $42.00 per hour
