About your opportunity:
In this position you will....
Supervise the day-to-day activities of junior medical staff to ensure that appropriate standards of care are maintained and that junior medical staff are trained to adequately fulfill their duties.
Provide assistance with surgical procedures and outpatient clinics as directed by the Consultant to which assigned.
Maintain good communications with all areas and disciplines within the Health Service and with local medical actioners to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the hospital.
Participate in outreach services to other hospitals in the region and other districts that require outreach.
Undertake theoretical and practical training in the particular disciple in which the Registrar/Principal House Officer is employed.
