Your role

Assisting people to live as independently as possible in their own homes and in the community.

  • Assisting with personal care, such as showering, getting dressed, oral care, personal grooming, conduct daily tasks, and household chores such as laundry and cooking.
  • Providing social support and companionship to individuals with disabilities and those recovering from mental health disorders such as social outings.
  • Assisting those with physical and psycho-social difficulties to stay independent in their own homes while helping to build confidence and life skill.
  • Assisting with light housework, such as vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning the kitchen and bathroom.
  • Help with cooking and doing dishes, planning meals, and grocery shopping.
  • Driving clients and running errands.
  • Help people get out and about in the community.
  • Help people get to and from appointments, fill out paperwork, and apply for other supports like social housing, employment, or other entitlements.
  • Reviewing and revising care support plans.
  • Be a part of the Passion Aid Care team by supporting clients and fellow support workers

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $29.00 – $43.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Mental Disability related: 1 year (Required)

Licence/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (Required)
  • National Police Certificate (Required)
  • Driver Licence (Required)
  • Children Check/ WWVP Card - "Yes" to NDIS activities (Required)
  • NDIS worker's orientation module certificate? (Required)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Required)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 29/06/2026
