Living and working in WA’s regional, rural and remote communities can provide a unique and affordable lifestyle where there's no shortage of adventure. The Department of Communities protects and cares for Western Australian children and young people who are in need and supports families and individuals who are at risk or in crisis.
Are you looking to join the Department of Communities in a key frontline position located in the Pilbara Region? Then you’ve come to the right place!
Working in the Pilbara
Living and Working in the Pilbara is from the Ocean to the Desert.
What does your perfect weekend look like? Is it lying on a white sandy beach surrounded by picturesque turquoise water? Maybe it is hiking and climbing through deep rocky canyons to be greeted by cool and inviting plunge pools. You, your family and friends might spend the morning four-wheel driving through the beautiful outback, before setting up camp and enjoying some fishing. Or you could enjoy fine food and visiting unique cafes and restaurants. Whatever your perfect weekend is, when you move to the Pilbara, you’ll find all of this, plus much more, all in your backyard.
