The Team & Role
The Health Information Services (HIS) team plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality and accessibility of patient information. As a Health Information Services Clerk, you will provide high-quality administrative support across a range of functions, including discharges, record preparation, scanning and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Working in a collaborative and customer-focused environment, you will help ensure all documentation is processed efficiently and made available within the Digitised Medical Record (DMR), while contributing to excellent service delivery, continuous improvement and the achievement of team goals.

Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in an administrative role
Excellent keyboard skills (experience in using Microsoft Office and other web based programs)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of privacy and confidentiality of patient information legislation
Uses a polite and considerate manner when dealing with others (written and verbal)
