About the role

We have a number of casual Paralegal opportunities available immediately within our Melbourne Medical Negligence team. These roles will support a large scale, high profile litigation project and offer valuable, hands on experience in a fast paced and collaborative environment.

You will play a key role in supporting a dedicated team of lawyers on a significant document review and discovery exercise. This is an excellent opportunity for law students looking to gain exposure to complex litigation and develop practical legal skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting with large scale document review and discovery processes
  • Reviewing, categorising and organising electronic documents
  • Providing general administrative support to the legal team
  • Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail across high volume tasks

About you

We are looking for motivated and reliable law students who are:

  • Currently completing a law degree
  • Available to commence immediately
  • Able to commit to consistent casual hours over the coming months
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident working with large volumes of information
  • Team oriented with a positive and proactive approach
  • Availability for at least two days per week, with the potential for additional hours during university breaks
