Join our Biochemistry/Immunology Laboratory, performing a range of biochemical, haematological and immunological testing to support patient care.

Work across laboratory sections using automated and manual methods as part of a rotational 24/7 shift roster.

This is an opportunity to be part of Public Pathology Victoria (PPV), supporting high-quality pathology services, innovation and research.

Key Accountabilities

Perform biochemical, haematological and immunological analyses using automated instrumentation and manual methods.
Register and process specimens, including pre-analytic preparation.
Rotate between Biochemistry and Immunology laboratory sections.
Participate in a 24/7 rotating shift roster, including evenings, nights and weekends.
Undertake other related laboratory duties as required.

About you

You have a Bachelor of Applied Science, Bachelor of Science or equivalent qualification, along with:

Experience in a tertiary hospital or private Biochemistry an/or Immunology laboratory is desirable.
Commitment to customer focused service.
Capacity to perform under pressure, to meet time constraints and determine work priorities.
Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
