Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team of Doctors, Nurses and Medical Receptionists at our General Practice.

You will be required to work 3-4 days a week.

Your key responsibilities will be but not limited to:

• Greeting patients
• Answering phone calls
• Registering new patients
• Scheduling appointments and maintaining records.
• Checking emails
• Processing payments and/or Medicare claims and accounts
• Getting consult rooms ready.
• Scanning documents as required in the practice.
• faxing documents as required in the practice.
• Following up on outstanding results and correspondence
• End of day banking
• Maintaining operations by following policies and procedures
• General administrative duties as required.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience as a Medical Receptionist
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible with hours and days when required.
• Experience with the software Medical Director is preferred

Pay: From $26.97 per hour

Experience:

• Medical admin: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
