About the role

Assist nominated Principal Investigator/s of research projects in the progression of diabetes-related foot disease research projects by contributing to the design of the research protocols, ensuring research governance protocols and requirements are met and recorded.
Provide clinical leadership to gather high quality clinical research data and maintain optimum health care to research participants at the standard of practice, in accordance with the National Health Medical and Research Council (NHMRC), Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (GCP) and the International Committee of Harmonisation (ICH).

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Provide key support to diabetes-related foot disease research projects undertaken by the Metro North Podiatry Directorate, led by a nominated Principal Investigator (PI).
Prepare or assist the nominated PI to prepare ethics submissions, governance applications, conference reports, posters, slides and hand-outs for presentations.
Prepare other study materials as requested by the nominated PI. These study materials include, but are not limited to, the informed consent documentation, case report forms (CRFs), enrolment logs, and drug/device accountability logs.
Establish and organise study files, including but not limited to, regulatory binders, study specific source documentation and other materials. Monitor all aspects of study site activity including maintenance of study files and liaison with other study centres.
