About The Team
Our team are dedicated professionals committed to providing specialised and innovative services that enrich the student journey and support the well-being of the broader university community. Our team are multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, all working together to create a supportive, inclusive, and high-quality service environment. Joining our team, you’ll play a key part in providing patient care and coordination across the team, helping to maintain our commitment to excellence in student health and well-being.
Your New Role!
In this exciting role, you will deliver innovative and professional healthcare services that enhance the student experience and support the wider university community. As a Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care that promotes the health, wellbeing, and safety of students and staff.
Key Duties:
-
Deliver clinical care within scope, including walk in triage, immunisations, wound care, ECGs, spirometry and pathology collection.
-
Assist doctors with procedures and patient care.
-
Maintain at least one of the service clinical portfolios, infection control, vaccine management, sexual health, healthy lifestyle, student clinical placement.
-
Provide support for campus wide designated first aiders
-
Identify, contribute and participate in priority health promotion areas in collaboration with the wider student wellbeing teams.

This Fixed Term (6 Months) | Part time (22.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $101K – $133K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What you’ll bring to the role:

AHPRA Registration, unrestricted as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, along with at least five years of post-qualification experience.
-
Proven ability to excel in non-hospital settings or general practice environments.
-
Strong problem-solving skills in clinical settings.
-
Experience in emergency triage, phlebotomy, and immunisations.
-
Competence in using diagnostic equipment, including ECG machines and defibrillators.
