Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Van Driver and Packer role based at PACK & SEND Chermside in Chermside West, QLD. The role involves safely driving the store’s van to collect and deliver parcels, coordinating routes, and handling items with care to avoid damage. In-store duties include professionally packing a variety of items (including fragile and high-value goods), labeling and preparing shipments, and following packing and shipping procedures. The team member will assist customers at the counter, provide basic information on services, and support general store operations such as stock handling, tidying work areas, and completing routine paperwork. The position requires working collaboratively with colleagues, following safety guidelines, and maintaining a reliable, punctual work pattern.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and confidence operating a delivery van.
• Ability to lift, move, and pack parcels of various sizes using correct manual handling techniques.
• Strong attention to detail for labeling, documentation, and following packing and shipping procedures.
• Customer service skills, clear communication, and a professional, respectful approach with customers and colleagues.
• Basic computer skills for using point-of-sale systems and shipment booking platforms.
• Reliability, time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Willingness to learn PACK & SEND systems, services, and safety guidelines; prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or retail is an advantage.

Pay: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour
