About the role:
The Executive Assistant provides high-level, confidential executive and business support to the Executive Director, Improvement, and their team. The role is critical to enabling the efficient operation of the Office of the Executive Director, supporting delivery of government priorities and maintaining a high‑performing, connected branch.
The Executive Assistant is a key coordinating link between the Executive Director and the Improvement branch and provides a pivotal point of contact for key stakeholders from government, health and private sectors, requiring a high level of professionalism, initiative and collaboration.
The Executive Assistant will deliver a range of business support services, including administration functions associated with keeping the office running smoothly. This role requires demonstrated attention to detail, teamwork and effective communication skills.

About you:
Qualifications/Specialist Expertise:
- A tertiary qualification in business would be advantageous.
- Experience and expertise in the use of Microsoft office, record keeping legislation and departmental processes for finance, procurement and recruitment
- Highly developed keyboarding skills, in terms of speed and accuracy, and the ability to use a range of software applications both on personal computers and network systems.
- A sound understanding of the Victorian health system, and knowledge of the department and its operating processes and information systems is essential.
