Bring your energy to Aggreko as Manager - Programme & Project Delivery based in Perth. You’ll be responsible for coordinating and managing renewable projects across the Australia-Pacific (AusPac) region in terms of cost, schedule, risk and resources. This role is the conduit between project delivery, project sales, inhouse and external service providers (engineering, finance, customer service etc) ensuring stakeholders are kept informed of progress.

This role is a key member of the Major Projects Team providing project management expertise and insights to the team. Major Projects are a critical element to our business in providing energy solutions to solve customer challenges.

What you’ll do as Manager - Programme & Project Delivery:

  • Lead the end-to-end management and delivery of renewable energy hybrid power projects, combining a mixture of solar, wind, battery storage, and thermal power systems.

  • Develop detailed full-scale project plans, schedules, risk registers, budgets and communications documents ensuring alignment with client requirements and organisational goals.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, government agencies, and local communities.

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, allocate resources efficiently and monitor project budgets, expenditures, risk registers, and financial performance, ensuring cost-effective delivery.

  • Undertake all responsibilities in a safe manner and positively support a safety culture and systems to support this.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance and quality.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients, including updates on timelines, budgets, and risks.

You are:

  • Highly experience in this are with a minimum of 10 years of prior experience as a Project Manager within the renewable energy & construction industry, ideally from either an EPC, NSP, IPP or similar.

  • Fully understanding of the constraints affecting the renewable energy industry in Australia and New Zealand.

  • Experienced managing projects in renewable energy plants connected to both MV and HV networks.

  • Qualified in construction related project management

  • Ideally a degree qualified engineer or related discipline as background.

  • Experienced in managing construction of utility scale Renewable Energy projects, i.e., larger than 50MW, with experience in delivery of hybrid power projects is advantageous.

  • Strongly commercially minded including strategic planning, finance and leadership skills.

  • Capable to operate autonomously, demonstrating initiative, while also thriving in a team environment.

  • Able to lead and mentor a team to deliver team and individual goals.

Travel to project sites (usually remote) is a requirement for this role. This role will play a huge part in supporting the achievement of our company strategy. You will lead and cascade our vision through your business area. You will be part of a brighter and more sustainable future.
