The purpose of this role is to deliver medical physics services that support the safe, effective and compliant use of diagnostic imaging technologies, contributing to quality assurance, radiation protection and the ongoing improvement of healthcare technology systems.
What you'll do
In this role you will participate in quality control and radiation protection programs across a broad range of diagnostic imaging modalities including CT, MRI, mammography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and nuclear medicine. You will provide scientific advice to clinical stakeholders, contribute to equipment procurement and acceptance testing activities, support quality improvement and research projects, prepare technical reports, assist with the development of clinical protocols, deliver education and training programs, and contribute to the advancement of diagnostic imaging practice and patient safety.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
Holds a recognised Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Physics
Has strong scientific and analytical problem-solving skills
Has an interest in medical physics, diagnostic imaging and radiation safety
Can communicate effectively with clinical and technical stakeholders
Works collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Is committed to continuous learning, professional development and quality improvement
