Full job description

Corfad Civil and Construction are an established rail construction company, our rail welding division and plant hire sectors are at the forefront of our industry. We have gained a reputation for high quality of work, commitment to safety and client satisfaction.

We are seeking experienced track certifiers, skilled rail aluminothermic welders, welders offsiders and skilled track workers along with machine operators within NSW, VIC, WA and SA for an immediate start. We are looking for highly motivated and reliable rail workers who have previous rail industry experience, and can demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

  • Aluminothermic Welders
  • Skilled Rail Labourers
  • Welders off siders
  • Machine Operators
  • Verse Testers
  • Leading Hand/Supervisor

Compulsory Minimum Requirements:

Required/Mandatory

  • Rail Industry Worker Card (RIW / MTA Card)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Rail
  • WHS Construction Induction (White Card)
  • Certificate II in Rail and Infrastructure/ Certificate III (Track cert)
  • Current Rail Welding Certificates
  • CAT 3 Medical / CAT 1 Medical
  • Drivers Licence with own transport
  • Machine operator Tickets
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment and Rail CAT 3 or CAT 1 Medical, including drug and alcohol testing
  • Strong commitment to Safety and Teamwork
  • Rail References to be checked for experience.
