Dental Receptionist – Join the Team at Somersmiles Dental

Location: Somerville, VIC
Position: Part-Time or Full-Time (Negotiable)

At Somersmiles Dental, we're passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a warm, welcoming, and modern environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and friendly Dental Receptionist to become the first smiling face our patients see.

About the Role

As our Dental Receptionist, you'll play a vital role in creating an outstanding patient experience from the moment patients contact our practice. You'll work alongside a supportive team in a busy, professional, and caring environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients and making them feel welcome.
  • Managing appointments using dental practice software.
  • Answering phones and responding to patient enquiries.
  • Processing payments and health fund claims.
  • Managing patient recalls and treatment bookings.
  • Coordinating the daily appointment schedule.
  • Providing outstanding customer service at every interaction.
  • Assisting with general administrative duties.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Is friendly, compassionate, and professional.
  • Can multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Has experience in dental reception
  • Is confident using computers and learning new software.
