About the Role:
Join our Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit as a Rehabilitation Support Worker, supporting individuals, and their families, in their recovery and accomplishment of individual goals.
In this role, you will provide direct support to consumers experiencing mental health challenges, helping them develop skills for independent living and community participation. Our collaborative team environment focuses on person-centred care and recovery-oriented practice.
- providing practical support with daily living activities and skill development
- assisting with group programs and therapeutic activities
- supporting consumers in accessing community resources and services
- contributing to care planning and documentation
- working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
About You:
To succeed in this position, you’ll bring strong communication and interpersonal abilities that help you build genuine, positive relationships with our consumers. You’ll be confident managing your time and resources efficiently, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team.
We’re looking for someone who shows initiative, responds well to guidance, and adapts to the needs of a dynamic work environment. Experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions is essential, along with the flexibility to work casual hours.
