About this position

The City is seeking applications for two permanent Customer Service Officer positions. As a Customer Service Officer, you will deliver exceptional customer service by responding to resident enquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and building positive relationships across multiple channels, including phone, webchat, email and face to face interactions.

Leverage your communication and problem-solving skills while supporting a vibrant community and contributing to meaningful outcomes for residents.

What we are looking for

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Substantial experience in a similar role and a commitment to service excellence
• Professional and empathetic approach to customer service
• Strong computer and administrative skills
• Experience in cash handling
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders
• A positive work attitude and strong work ethic

Essential requirements

• Current National Police Clearance (less than three months old) Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
