About the role:
Join our dedicated Medical Unit as an Assistant in Nursing on a casual basis. You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative team committed to providing high-quality cand compassionate care for our patients at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba.

Essential qualifications: Relevant TAFE Certificate i.e. Certificate III health/aged care and/or have successfully completed second year Bachelor of Nursing Studies Clinical placement

Previous experience in a hospital setting desirable

Ability to assist in the performance of nursing duties in an efficient and prompt manner as delegated by a Registered Nurse or an Enrolled Nurse

Have a demonstrated application of contemporary infection control standards and practices

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 197-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our occupational therapy team works with a broader multidisciplinary allied health team across the following areas: general medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, intensive care, maternity, and paediatrics, cardiac and neurology.
