We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Business Consultant to join our team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker who enjoys solving complex business challenges, building strong client relationships and delivering meaningful results.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Business Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality consulting and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

Working closely with senior stakeholders and business leaders, you will assess organisational performance, develop strategic recommendations and support the successful implementation of business transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and a results-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business consulting engagements, from initial assessment and strategic planning through to implementation and performance evaluation.
• Analyse business operations, organisational structures, financial performance and market conditions to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and present strategic recommendations, business cases and actionable improvement plans to senior management and executive stakeholders.
• Partner with clients to design and implement business transformation, operational efficiency and growth initiatives.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and commercial assessments to support informed business decisions.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting frameworks and performance measurement systems.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings and strategic planning sessions.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, ensuring high standards of service delivery and professional accountability.
• Identify opportunities for business development, client engagement and long-term partnerships.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the continuous improvement of consulting methodologies and internal processes.

About You

To succeed in this position, you will demonstrate:

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Management or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in business consulting, management consulting, strategic advisory or business transformation.
• Proven experience managing complex consulting projects and delivering measurable business improvements.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives and key stakeholders.
• Experience developing business strategies, operational improvement plans and financial or commercial analyses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver executive-level presentations.
• Strong project management, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and business reporting tools.
• A proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach, with the confidence to work independently.

Experience across multiple industries, organisational change initiatives or business process optimisation will be highly regarded.
