Full job description

We are looking for dedicated passionate Support Workers to join our caring and dynamic team and provide high quality in-home support services to our valued clients. We strive to insure we give our clients a voice, choice and control to be able to live and thrive in all aspects of their lives. We are extremely family orientated and in this believe that each client is a member of our family and should be treated with the upmost respect and dignity along with all our support staff. We are seeking staff who are respectful and understanding who will insure that the utmost care is taken to insure our clients feel valued and a healthy working relationship is formed. Shifts will range from 2hrs to 8hrs and overnights

Duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
  • Assistance in personal care
  • Domestic assistance: cleaning, laundry and meal preparation, basic garden maintenance
  • Supporting clients with complex and/or challenging needs
  • Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
  • Problem solving and communication skills

What you will need:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check/Criminal Record Check
  • Current First Aid certificate/CPR
  • Current Australian Driver’s License minimum 2 years of driving experience
  • Reliable, registered and insured vehicle
  • Smart phone with internet access
  • Current Working with Children Check Preferred (or equivalent state based check)
  • Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (preferred)
