If you're looking to kick start your tech career with hands-on problem solving with real responsibility from day one, this one's for you! We're hiring two Junior IT Support Officers for a fast-growing Australian health tech company based in Melbourne.

Company profile - Health Technology
This fast-growing health tech company builds an integration-driven software platform used in over 100 hospitals across Australia, connecting the systems, devices, data and teams that clinical and operational staff rely on every day. Their secure platform brings clinical communication, safety alerts, task coordination and operational systems into one place, helping hospital teams respond faster and work with more clarity when it matters most. Over 8,000 healthcare professionals use the platform, facilitating more than 3 million secure interactions. The business is investing heavily in AI, and you'll be joining a close-knit, collaborative engineering and support team at an exciting point of growth.

The Role - Junior IT Support Officer
In this role, you'll provide technical support to hospital IT teams and clinical staff using the platform, troubleshooting issues, diagnosing faults, and making sure critical systems stay up and running. You'll work standard business hours Monday to Friday, with a share of an on-call roster covering evenings and weekends (with additional remuneration). This is a great entry point into the tech industry, with previous team members progressing from support into implementation and product roles as they build their skills.

Job responsibilities - Junior IT Support Officer
In this role, you'll be tasked with the following duties, but not limited to:
  • Responding to and diagnosing technical issues raised by hospital IT teams and clinical staff
  • Remotely accessing hospital systems to identify and resolve faults
  • Monitoring alerts and escalating critical incidents appropriately
  • Participating in an on-call roster covering nights and weekends
  • Building product knowledge to support future progression into implementation or product roles
Job requirements - Junior IT Support Officer
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, technical background or study preferred but not essential
  • A professional, calm approach when dealing with high-pressure or urgent situations
  • Comfortable working some evenings and weekends as part of a rostered on-call system
  • Great communication skills and a genuine willingness to learn
Job benefits - Junior IT Support Officer
  • Opportunity for remote/work from home
  • Career growth into implementation, product and beyond
  • Competitive graduate salary with additional remuneration for on-call roster
  • Supportive environment with an expert team passionate about technology
  • Hands-on training & mentorship from the team
  • A tech company using cutting-edge technology – you’re at the centre of innovation!
