• Salary for Casual roles: $31.00 - $31.92 per hour + 25% casual loading
• Salary for Short Term Temporary Appointments: $61,458 - $63,278 p.a (adjusted to hours worked)

Join the Assistant in Nursing/Midwifery Central Pool at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network and work in one or more of our diverse health units located in:

• Eudunda

• Tanunda

• Angaston

• Kapunda

• Gawler

• Gumeracha

• Aged Care
• Emergency
• Midwifery

Central Staffing Casual Pool offers the flexibility and opportunity to move into many different areas within the nursing profession whilst achieving work/life balance.

As an Assistant in Nursing/Midwifery, you’ll support Enrolled and Registered Nurses/Midwives in delivering person-centred care and undertake basic nursing duties such as assisting with daily living activities, setting up for procedures, cleaning equipment, and managing stock. This is a rewarding opportunity to gain experience across multiple units and sites while contributing to safe, high-quality care for our patients and residents.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

• Assist nurses and midwives with routine care tasks and activities of daily living.

• Provide technical support functions such as equipment cleaning, stock management, and procedure setup.

• Help maintain a safe, supportive, and culturally appropriate environment for patients, residents, and staff.

• Actively participate in quality improvement activities by following established guidelines and reporting relevant data.

• You will need to undergo employment screening, what you require is also on the front page of the Role Description.

• You will be required to be enrolled as a student in an undergraduate program in nursing or midwifery or hold a Certificate III or IV in a health related discipline. For more information, please refer to the Role Description provided below.
