Administration Assistant (Permanent Part-Time)

Location: Strathalan Community, Macleod, VIC

Salary: Up to $32.83 an hour + 12% Super + NFP Benefits

BaptistCare is seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to join our team at Strathalan Community in Macleod. We have Permanent Part-Time opportunity available across weekdays (availability on Wednesday & Thursday is preferred) — offering flexibility and variety while you build meaningful connections with residents, families, and staff.

The Role

As an Administration Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and reception support within our aged care facility. Reporting to the Residential Care and Services Manager, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, helping ensure the smooth and welcoming operation of our front office.

Your responsibilities include:
Front office reception — greeting visitors warmly, managing calls, taking and distributing messages, accepting deliveries

Administrative support — word processing, data entry, photocopying, preparing agendas and minutes

Financial tasks — petty cash handling and banking

Building positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders

Reporting workplace and consumer‑related risks promptly

Participating in scheduled training to maintain current skills
