What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum Cert 4 in Youth Work, Child & Family, or Community Services
  • First aid / CPR / NDIS / WWCC / Safe environment through their eyes
  • Current unrestricted Australian driver’s license and probity clearances

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting young people with daily routines, care, and activities
  • Building positive relationships based on trust and respect
  • Creating safe, structured therapeutic environments
  • Responding calmly to challenges and behavioural needs
  • Working collaboratively on individualised care plans
  • Mentoring young people to explore interests, hobbies and cultural activities
  • Administering medication safely and following individual support plans
  • Completing clear and factual handover notes and incident reports
