Full job description

Opportunity to become a personal care worker providing quality care services to clients needing support in their own homes in Werribee and surrounding areas.

Tasks include:

  • Personal care and domestic household duties
  • Meal preparations
  • Observe client’s wellbeing and make recommendations about care enhancements.
  • Be proactive with our clients’ needs
  • Maintaining records and continuous communicating with our excellent client services staff
  • Participate in client reviews and work with the client’s family to support client requests
  • In Home Respite Care
  • Transport, shopping and appointments
  • Community Inclusion social support and companionship

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for Personal Care Attendants who can inspire others, build relationships, and make a real difference. Perfect for those with experience in aged care, dementia, disability and palliative care.

Shift times and length vary depending on clients needs. Minimum 2 hour shifts, can get several clients in an area and kms reimbursed

Hourly rates $38-$40 p/h Weekdays

Weekend rates.

What are we looking for?

  • Qualification in Aged Care/Disability/Individual Support/Nursing
  • Experience in aged care, disability and home care
  • Valid driver’s licence & reliable vehicle would be preferred
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
  • Current Police Check(within 12 months)

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $38.00 – $45.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Werribee VIC 3030: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Personal care: 1 year (Required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driver Licence (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Required)
