Northern Adelaide Local Health Network – GP Plus Sites (Elizabeth and Modbury)
Salary: $67,979 p.a. (pro rata) plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice benefits – AHA2

• This role attracts a fixed allowance that ensures a minimum salary equivalent to AHA2 (third increment) pro-rated, based on the Undertaking as within the Allied Health Professionals, Assistants and Psychologists Enterprise Agreement 2025.

Temporary Part-Time – 30 hours per week, up to 31 January 2027

What You'll Be Part Of

You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary allied health team to deliver person-centred care in community-based settings. This is a part-time working Monday to Friday, fixed-term contract through to 31 January 2027. Day-to-day, your contribution will include:

Assisting Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists in the delivery of therapeutic and rehabilitation programs for community clients - specifically supporting Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehabilitation and other exercise groups designed to assist people in managing their chronic condition
Supporting Occupational Therapists and Social Workers in within-scope clinical and administrative activities
Supporting Podiatrists in the management of sterile stock and maintaining sufficient stock levels for clinics
Supporting clinicians to maintaining a well stocked, clean and tidy store room and clinic spaces
Supporting other members of the team, including Dietitians and CHAMP practitioners in administrative functions
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and contributing to service coordination
Engaging respectfully with clients, carers, and families from diverse backgrounds across northern Adelaide communities
What You'll Bring
Demonstrated experience or a willingness to learn to support allied health clinicians in a community, primary health, or acute care setting
Sound understanding of person-centred care principles and safe work practices
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and multidisciplinary team members
Current or ability to obtain a DCSI/Screening Unit clearance as required by SA Health

To be eligible for this position, you must possess or be undertaking a Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent

An ability to effectively manage multiple, diverse and competing priorities and demonstrated resilience within a stressful and complex environment is essential to this role.
