Based in metro Adelaide, we have opportunities available for Allied Health Assistants/ Therapy Assistants to join our growing team. We are seeking vibrant and enthusiastic AHAs to join our existing team of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.

A bit about the position

Tilegne Therapy works with clients across the lifespan who experience a diverse range of challenges requiring our support. You will have a primarily adults caseload, with the opportunity for the successful candidate to take on a mixed caseload of adults and children from a variety of backgrounds if desired.

We have developed pathways for individuals looking to develop their career as an Allied Health Assistant and pathways for those looking to progress into their therapy professions with supported supervision.

Above award remuneration based on clinical competency and experience is available. Applications from early career and experienced AHAs are welcome.

The position will involve assisting clients with therapy programs designed by the treating OT . You will work directly with the treating therapist and some general admin duties may also be required. We do our best to minimise travel distances and schedule clients in your residential area. As the position often requires independent working in clients' homes, we are looking for people with experience assisting and who enjoy working with aged care clients and clients with disability – which make up the majority of the caseload. Applicants with international allied health degrees or equivalent and AHA graduates with previous disability experience are encouraged to apply.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

• An understanding of family centred practice
• Applicants of all levels of experience are welcome to apply
• Willingness to work closely within a multidisciplinary team
• Studying a degree in Allied Health or equivalent Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
• Own reliable car and Australian Drivers Licence, applicants should have confident driving skills as the position involves travelling to clients around Metropolitan Adelaide
• Candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check prior to appointment and are required to disclose any pre-existing injury or illness which may be adversely affected by undertaking the position.

Pay: $33.00 – $37.00 per hour
