Customer Care Representative - me+ Patient Support Program

We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and customer-focused individual to join our me+ Patient Support Team as a Customer Care Representative.

The me+ team plays a vital role in supporting both patients and healthcare professionals throughout the care journey. From product sampling and product-related support to connecting patients with additional support services, our focus is on ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and empowered as they navigate life with a stoma or continence condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound calls, emails, and web enquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, distributors, and Convatec employees.
• Provide product information, usage guidance, and coordinate product sampling requests.
• Conduct outbound follow-up calls with patients as part of the me+ Patient Support Program to provide ongoing support and enhance the patient care journey.
• Coordinate discharge kits and product samples in collaboration with Stomal Therapy Nurses, Continence Nurses, Medical Sales Specialists, and patients.
• Accurately create and maintain cases and fulfilment requests within the Customer Interaction Centre (CIC) CRM system.
• Maintain accurate and usable patient and clinical data in accordance with company guidelines and privacy requirements.
• Provide support to the Sales and Marketing teams as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the patient and customer experience.
• Work towards achieving individual and team KPIs and performance objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and quality requirements.

To Be Successful, You Will Have

• Previous experience in customer service, patient support, outbound calling, sales support, or a similar customer-focused role.
• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting and professional relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
• The ability to demonstrate empathy and professionalism when supporting people navigating life-changing health conditions.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive approach with strong initiative and a willingness to take ownership of issues through to resolution.
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
• The ability to remain calm, professional, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience working with CRM systems or databases would be advantageous.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A desire to continually learn about our products, the healthcare environment, and evolving standards of care.

Qualifications

• Nursing qualifications or healthcare experience are highly regarded but not essential.
• Experience supporting patients or healthcare professionals will be viewed favourably.
