The role

This position provides support to the In Home Support team and wider Community Wellbeing team through:

  • Supporting the Delivered Meals, Seniors Festival, Digital Inclusion and Direct Care Worker traineeship programs
  • Assisting with internal committees, working groups meetings and events
  • Maintaining databases, accurate records and generating reports
  • Administration tasks including minute taking, document preparation and processing purchase orders

Our ideal candidate

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant qualifications, and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally in an Aged Care environment
  • Competent computer skills, with the ability to learn new systems and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Proven skills working with the community
  • A basic understanding of the Aged Care Act and related legislation and Home Support programs would be advantageous
