About your opportunity
To provide high quality clinical care to clinical trials patients of the Townsville Cancer Centre - Haematology Service within The Townsville Hospital & Health Service, supervision of junior medical staff and will include some responsibility for providing teaching to junior medical staff, medical students, nursing and allied health staff.

Salary range: $133,848 to $154,749 p.a. (L4-L9)

Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
Appointment to this position requires proof of medical qualification and 3 to 4 years of medical officer work experience (Intern, RMO, Registrar). Registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
Accepted into recognised vocational college training program relevant to the speciality.
If appointee is not accepted into a recognized vocational college training program - employment will only be as a Principal House Officer and remuneration will be at PHO Level per fortnight (L4-L7).
Highly regarded: Interest / background in Clinical Trials and / or Clinical Research with knowledge of clinical trial specific requirements for patient care and associated documentation practices.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
